This project started with a Master Plan and then a staging plan to establish how to convert an existing single stream primary school into a larger two stream school while keeping the school in operation.  Works included refurbishment and conversion of 11 classrooms with new breakout spaces with interconnecting spaces and a new lift.  An extension for the Junior school (Years 1 & 2) provided enabling works for the reorganisation of the school.

Some of the biophilic design principles outlined in CCJ’s core philosophy have been applied in this project, notably the connection to the external environment or landscape, access to natural light, materials and colours, building scale, and tactile elements.
