New depot houses for ACT Parks and Wildlife to replace houses destroyed in the Canberra Bushfires.  The project included schemes for 5 houses, 2 of which were built: one at Namadgi (near the visitors centre) and one at Bendora Dam.  Houses had a requirement to be self-sufficient in water, sewerage and power due to the fact that they were located outside the main service lines.  The houses are solar passive, collect rainwater for reuse, have solar hot water for heating and domestic hot water, are naturally ventilated and have an on-site sewer treatment system.  Bendora house has its own electrical supply through a mini hydro system.

The houses have been included in the book 100 Canberra houses.
