The interior refurbishment of the Canberra Institute of Technology cafeteria included the Canteen Kitchen, servery counter and point of sale, bookshop, Coffee shop, Offices, General student common area, Lounge area and Storage areas.  The approach was to maintain a relaxed environment that was sympathetic to the existing building.  It has become a positive addition that compliments the broader environment and provides a hub that enhances the sense of community learning.
